The DAF SBIR/STTR Specific Topic Program seeks innovative solutions for a particular problem defined by a DAF customer. Unlike Open Topics that focus on dual-use technologies with both commercial and military applications, Specific Topics are centered on a well-defined DAF need. A known DAF end-user is included in the topic solicitation, and small businesses work directly with that customer to deliver a solution.
